FM27 Wonderkids and Regens Tracker

Before launch, please read: no FM27 player data is public yet. Any FM27 wonderkid list you see before 10 November 2026 (including ours) is a list of real-world young players. It is not Sports Interactive's in-game ratings. We'll replace it with in-game findings once the game is playable.

Every new Football Manager means a new hunt for the next superstar. This page is where we track it for FM27. Before launch, it's an honest watchlist. Once the game is out, it becomes a living list of FM27 wonderkids and, best of all, the regens you lot find in your saves.

Quick answers

Are there official FM27 wonderkids yet? No. Player ratings in Football Manager only exist inside the game. FM27 launches from 10 November 2026, and the Launch Preview runs from 29 October to 3 November 2026. Anyone can try it for free during Launch Preview Free Play on Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Until then, nobody outside Sports Interactive can say who the in-game wonderkids are.

When will we know the FM27 wonderkids? As soon as the Launch Preview is playable on 29 October. We'll update this page with what we find in the game, and check it again at full release on 10 November.

What's the difference between a wonderkid and a regen? A wonderkid is a real young player in the game's starting database. A regen, or newgen, is a player the game generates during your save. Regens are unique to each save, so the regen you find will never appear in anyone else's game. That's exactly why we love showing them off.

How do I find FM27 regens? Check your youth intake, then look at every nation's new players under World > Transfers > Youth Intake. That's how it worked in FM26, anyway. We'll confirm whether it's the same in FM27 once we've played the Launch Preview. Our FM26 regen guides are coming soon too.

FM27 wonderkids: what we know before launch

Here's the honest version: before launch, an "FM27 wonderkids" list can only ever be a list of real young footballers who are likely to be in the database. We don't know their FM27 potential, current ability or price, so we haven't made any up.

Everyone loves a bargain, especially in a lower-league save. Once the game's out we'll pick out promising youngsters you can sign without breaking the bank. We'll only list prices we've actually seen in-game.

FM27 regens found by the community

This is the bit no other wonderkid list has. The FM in-game wonderkids are the same for everyone. Regens aren't. Every save produces its own, and some of them are ridiculous.

Regen of the Day switches to FM27 images around launch. From then, this section collects the best FM27 regens found by you and featured in our daily Regen of the Day on X (@RegenHunters). Each entry will show:

  • a real in-game screenshot
  • the save context: club, nation and the season they appeared
  • their standout attributes
  • a link to the original post

Remember, you can't go and find these exact players in your own save. Use them as inspiration for what's possible, then go and find your own.

Found a gem? Show us. Reply to or DM @RegenHunters with a screenshot. Rate my Regen is coming soon, and you'll be able to submit there and see how your regen rates.

How to find your own FM27 regens

Until we've tested FM27, here's the FM26 playbook, which is a good place to start:

  1. Know the intake dates. Each nation generates its youth at a set time of year. Your club's date is under Squad > Youth Setup.
  2. Check the global youth intake list. Go to World > Transfers > Youth Intake, filter by nation and shortlist anyone who stands out.
  3. Send your scouts. Set a recruitment focus for ages 15–21 and send scouts who know the region.
  4. Move fast. The best regens from smaller clubs don't stay unnoticed for long.

Full guides for each step are on the way.

FM26 wonderkids still worth a look

Sticking with FM26 for a while longer? Fair enough. Our regen archive is full of the best FM26 regens from real saves, each with an in-game screenshot.

While you wait for launch, have a go at Guess the Player, and check the FM27 hub for the release date, platforms and everything confirmed so far.
